A Place to Grow.

At Dugger Family Farm, we care about regenerative agriculture, local food systems, rural communities, animal welfare, public health, environmental sustainability, and more. Have questions? Just ask. We’re happy to share with you what we know.

We are the Duggers

No, not those Duggars. Our name is spelled with an e.

Randy's a car mechanic and hot rod builder. Sherri's a published author and seasoned journalist. We are both farm and food system advocates. Married in our backyard urban garden in 2012 (on one of the hottest days in Indiana's history; it was 105 degrees outside), we have since moved to the country where we restored a 100-year-old farmhouse. After years of building fences, acquiring animals and cleaning up someone else's discarded beer cans and trash, we have officially established Dugger Family Farm LLC.

We're starting up initiatives that speak to our passions, experiences, and talents, as well as to our desire to provide service to others. We hope to feed ourselves well, to steward the land and animals, to support our local food scene, and, ultimately, to leave behind a positive and lasting footprint in our Indiana community and soil.

Fresh, Local

Indiana made. Sustainably raised. Those words make our hearts (and stomachs) happy. Our mission at Dugger Family Farm is to advocate on behalf of regenerative agriculture, equitable local food systems, independent family farms, and thriving rural communities. Ingredients, you might say, for the greater good.

Animal welfare is a big focus at Dugger Family Farm. Here, we care for donkeys, alpacas, goats, dozens of chickens, thousands of bees, and a tribe of cats and dogs. The animals here are as much a part of our farm and family as we humans are. When you visit, please feel free to spend some extra time getting to know the Dugger Family Farm critters.

"You guys rock. Always working to support those around you. Thank you for what you do!"

— Joe Bastin, Bastin Honey Bee Farm

We love life on the farm, and we want to share it with you. Events at Dugger Family Farm focus on quality family fun, but also are often created with educational intent. So come out, enjoy some Indiana-made treats, listen to our invited speakers and help support diversified farms and local food.
